Is Jesus Christ The Answer

Is Jesus Christ the answer? Before you can answer this, you must first know the Question?
Below are some of the questions where Jesus Christ is the Answer

How can my sins be forgiven?

You may say, “I know I’m a sinner because I sin, but how can my sins be forgiven?” Jesus Christ truly is the answer to this question. Your sin and mine can only be forgiven by God because of what Jesus Christ did on the cross at Calvary. There Jesus Christ died on our behalf or instead of us, paying the debt God demanded. God is now willing to forgive us of our sin and welcomes those who will seek His forgiveness. In John chapter 6 verse 37 the Lord Jesus Christ say, “him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out”. Only if we come before God in true repentance seeking God’s forgiveness for our sins, and are willing to trust in the finished work that Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross, will God forgive us of our sins. In 1 Timothy chapter 1 verse 15, the apostle Paul writes to Timothy about Jesus saying, ‘This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation (or to be accepted by everyone), that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners’. This was the primary reason why Christ came, to save sinners by dying on the cross and shedding His precious blood!
You may then go on to ask, “how can my sins be forgiven by God when it was Jesus Christ who died and not myself?” Firstly, you must see that in the eyes of God every person is a sinner, in Romans chapter 3 verse 23 it says, ‘For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God’. This confirms that everyone is a sinner in the eyes of God. Secondly, we must understand what the result or penalty of sin is. Romans chapter 6 verse 23 holds the answer, “For the wages of sin is death”. In other words, death is a result of sin, and as each one of us dies, each one of us must have sin in our lives. Thirdly, we must understand that God wants to forgive us of our sin. Isaiah chapter 55 verse 7 say, “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon”. Fourthly, as a righteous judge God must ask for that price, debt or penalty of our sin to be paid in full before He can forgive us. That debt of our sins requires a perfect, pure and spotless sacrifice. Which is what was done by Jesus Christ at Calvary’s cross.

Romans chapter 5 verse 18 tells us, “Therefore as by the offense of one (Adam) judgement came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one (The Lord Jesus Christ) the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life”. In other words, it only took the disobedience of one man (Adam) for sin to enter the world, and likewise it was by the obedience of one man (Jesus Christ) on the cross that sin can be overcome, and in the eyes of God we can be forgiven or made just (justification). Romans chapter 6 verse 23 goes on to tell us, “but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”. Re-affirming that the gift God wants to give YOU is eternal life, which can be freely received when you accept Jesus Christ as Lord in your life, and trust in what he has done for you. Remember if a gift is not totally free to you, then it’s not a gift! So, don’t think you can do anything yourself to obtain that free gift of life eternal with God. To think you can do something to “help God forgive you of your sin by doing good things”, is to say that God does not accept His Own Son’s sacrifice on Calvary’s cross as full payment and His death is insufficient payment. Tell me, can you think of anything else which is worth more to God than His Son?

There is something missing in my life and I don’t know what it is! Is Jesus Christ the Answer?

Is Jesus Christ the answer to what is missing in your life. Again, the answer to this question is YES. 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17 tells us, ‘Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.’ The bible is telling us that once someone accepts Jesus Christ as Lord in their lives, they are changed. The things that once seemed important in our lives are replaced with a desire to serve God and put Him first. This doesn’t mean that our family, and other things are no longer important to us, or we no longer care for or about them. In fact, the opposite is true, we now have a great desire that they too will come to know the God of all creation as we know Him. That emptiness in your life is caused by your separation from the one who made you. It is hard for you to fully understand this now, and you may be asking yourself, how is Jesus Christ the answer?
Genesis chapter 1 verse 27 says, ‘So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.’ Man is the only one of God’s creation who were made in the image of God. This image is not a physical image but spiritual as God is Spirit. When Adam disobeyed God, and took of the fruit which God commanded him that he could not eat, mankind separated themselves from God through their own choice of disobedience. Genesis chapter 3 verse 8 to 10 tells us that once Adam and Eve sinned they realised they were naked and not fit to be in the presence of God, ‘And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves
